Apart from the eating, the decorating must be the best part of making a gingerbread house. After the tricky process of assembling is taken care of the kids can get stuck in. B and I put the walls together at night and the roof on the next morning. It's important not to rush those steps or the house
will collapse, you must trust me on this.
We had a few packets of Mario lollies left over from the birthday party (must blog that sometime) and so our gringerbread house this year belonged to Mario, Yoshi and Donkey Kong. Skitttles are dairy free so they're the best M&M alternative (oh how I love M&Ms though) and we used almost a whole big packet on the roof.
