The first weekend of the holidays we spent with our good friends in a Taupo campground. We hired neighbouring cabins, spent much of our time walking by the lake, drinking coffee and geocaching. It was cold but in a refreshing way, rather than the -4 degrees we had there last year!
B managed to squeeze in some fly fishing and I got in a few op shops on our way home. Happy families all round. On the Sunday night we ate at the Lone Star to celebrate a special 11 year old's birthday. He was stoked because they gave him a Lone Star tee shirt. He was even happier when he got his presents this year as he got music, books and video games (just what he wanted).
I've been a mum for eleven years!
