The other weekend was the awesome Kids Art Festival at the Corban's Art Estate in Henderson. Well worth a visit next year if you live in Auckland. There were heaps of crafty activities (printmaking, collage, sculpture, weaving, painting, music, drum making, poi and flute making...), story times, an entertainment stage, African drum workshop and other fun stuff. And yes, apart from the food, it was all free! Big brother loved the spider web painting and the mobile library bus! Little brother made a flute which we haven't managed to get any sound out of yet...
