star wars reads day

So apparently this is a yearly event at libraries and book stores all over the world.  Who knew?  Our library was transformed into a Jedi Library.  Filled with all sorts of Star Wars books, graphic novels, non fiction, craft books...  We brought quite a few home with us.

There were people dressed up, books were read aloud by a costumed librarian and then the kids did lots of Star Wars themed crafts while soundtrack music played.  It's amazing how familiar music really makes you remember films.  And it's quite nice to have music in the library too.  Think the boys are keen to do it all again next year.
